How do I book my photo shoot?
First search and select your photographer. Once you are on his profile using the booking widget to fill when you want the shoot and hit "Request to book" . This will take you to a secured page where you will enter additional informations. Once complete a payment dialogue will open. Payment are handled securely by the trusted payment provider Stripe. You can pay by VISA, MasterCard or AMEX cards.
Do I get charged if the photographer cancels?
No, you don't. If the photographer cancels the shoot for any reason you will be entirely reimbursed.
Do I get charged if the photographer does not accept my booking request?
No. When you send a request to book a photo shoot your card is not charged but simply authorized. If the photographer declines or fails to respond we will cancel the transcation and you will not be charged.
How do I modify the date & time of a booking?
To modify a booking, simply go to your dashboard > photo shoots > upcoming section and hit the button with a pen icon. You can then send a modification request to your photographer to change the date & time.
How do I cancel a booking?
Go to dashboard > photo shoots > upcoming section and hit the red cross button. Make sure you are aware the cancellation policies before you cancel the shoot.
When do I receive the pictures of my photo shoot?
This depends on each photographer. When you book a photo shoot package, the photographer indicates the delivery time. You should receive your pictures before the end of that period. Don't hesitate to stay in touch with the photographer after your shoot to keep updated with his progress.
How do I receive the pictures of my photo shoot?
Each photographer has his own way of delivering his images. Most will upload them to a private gallery of their choice and send you the link - or, in some cases, send you a direct link for you to download the pictures.
How do I communicate with my photographer?
Use our internal messaging system to discuss and organize the shoot with your photographer.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, we encourage you to invite your friends to use capture beautiful images. In your dashboard > Invite Friends section simply click one of the share button or send the referral link to your friend.
When does my card get charged?
It depends when your photo shoot is and the cancellation policy that applies.
- If your photo shoot is within 30days from now for any cancellation policy: your card will be authorized when you request to book and you will be charged when the photographer confirms - if he doesn't you won't get charged.
- If your photo shoot has a flexible, moderate or strict cancellation policy: you will get charged 30 days before the confirmed photo shoot date.
- If your photo shoot has a very strict cancellation policy: between 30 and 60 days before the confirmed photo shoot date, you will get charged 50%. Under 30days from the date of the confirmed photo shoot, you get charged the remaining 50%.
Are the photographers independants?
Yes, all the photographers listed are independant photographers. Each photographer is unique and has his own style.
Are the photographers real?
All of the photographers listed are real and have been verified, screened and approved by our team. Each photographer also has reviews based on recommendations from previous clients to help make an informed decision.
Who can leave a review for the photographer?
All the reviews on KYMA are written by past clients, so any review you see is based on a photo shoot that was booked through KYMA. A photographer needs to receive star ratings from at least 3 clients before their aggregate score appears.
